Pickling sheet

Pickled sheets are produced from hot-rolled sheet which during a process are pickled and surface coals and some of the impurities are removed then the sheet become shiny like oiled sheet.

Pickling is the process by which the fat on the sheet - which is reached to the desired thickness by hot rolling - is removed by using hydrochloric acid.

Part of the product produced in hot-rolled section is transferred to acid pickling section for washing the surface of the sheet by acid.

In pickling lines the coils after opening by opening reels entre into hydrochloric acid pools then are leached (washed) for oxidizing.

After the coils are washed and come out of the acid pool, then they are washed by water and dried by crossing through hot air tunnel.

After the pickling, part of the product is marketed as a coil pickling, and the main part is transported to cold-rolled section for producing cold products.

Pickling sheet applications:

Construction usage: Production of pipes, profiles etc.

Car manufacturing: Construction parts and vehicles spare parts and internal components (wheels and chassis)

Industrial pipe: production of various water pipes, oil and gas.

The production of gas tanks, liquid and tanks under pressure.

Re-forming for galvanized products.

Cold forming and deep stretching of gas cylinders

Pickling sheet thickness:

It is produced in thickness 1. 5 mm to 6 mm.

Physical dimensions of the pickling sheet:

Usually it is produced in two forms: rolls and sheets (fabric and shear).

Rolls usually are produced with width of 100 cm and 125 cm.

The fabric pickling Sheets has the following dimensions:

Pickling Sheet 2000* 1000mm

Pickling Sheet 1250 * 2500 mm
